CONNECT with other teens, get SUPPORT, and learn to manage stress using DANCE, MUSIC, ART, & MINDFULNESS TECHNIQUES in a safe virtual space where all are welcome.
Does your teen feel depressed, anxious or stressed out? Is it hard for them to manage school stress, make friends, and find connection? Maybe your teen feels isolated or lonely? Being a teenager is tough! BUT they are not alone!
In the Fall Teen Group, teens will connect with other teens like themselves who are going through similar struggles. This group provides a safe virtual space for teenagers to make friends, build self-esteem, process their feelings and learn healthy ways to manage stress and cope. They will learn mindfulness and breathing techniques, practice creative movement exercises, and explore music and art to help them find meaning.
Themes that will be explored over the 10 weeks include; negative/positive self-talk, school stress, emotional regulation, friendship, social media, and body image and self-esteem. The group will help teens build their confidence, while finding acceptance and belonging. Help your teen connect with peers, get support, and learn creative tools to manage their stressors.
10 Week Group
Who: Teen girls ages 13-18 who live in Pennsylvania or Maryland
When: Wednesdays 4-5pm, 10 weekly group beginning September 20 and running through December 7 (skipping October 5 and November 23)
Where: Zoom, link will be shared after you sign up
Cost: The weekly investment is $50 per hour long session. Payment accepted through Zelle, Venmo, or personal check. Pay for all 10 sessions upfront and take advantage of a 20% discount!
